Diet Cake Recipe

Dump the cake mix into a mixing bowl. Empty your diet beverage of choice in with the cake mix. Mix on high for 3-5 mins. Take your baking vessle of choice, grease it up with some non-stick spray and pour in the mix.

Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for 40-45 mins.

That's it! No eggs and no oil! Just the mix and a can of diet soda. And this works for all cake flavors! Chocolate, Vanilla, White, Rainbow, Strawberry, Spice. Add a dollop of Fat Free Cool Whip to your slice and enjoy!

Eat Sweets and loose weight, too!

You can still have your sweets and still loose weight by having a little cut of the pie just by reading the label on the container or box for the calories. For instances, Kraft Jello Gelatin is only 10 calories per container. Also, my favorite desert of all time is the sugar-free chocolate pudding (70 calories), UMMM! With a squirt of cool whip, 20 calories to top it of calcium.

There is a lot of deserts out there to have and still be satisfied. The only problem is do make the right choices and not to go over board. Kaft's Food website has great wonderful choices to eat healthy and they have healthy tools to watch your weight like body mass index, calories burn, counters, food analyzer and etc... They, also, have a Diabetes center of choices to make the right meals of recipes and food choices. Krafts products are everywhere and easy to find in a grocery store but its very hard to find the right choices of products to stay healthy. Well, Kraft website have a Product Benefit solution site that they will help you select the right choice of product like low fat, fiber, kid friendly, vitamin D and etc...

Portion Size by Hand

Portion size is a huge issue in weight loss especially eating out. Use you hand to guide your portion sizes. Also, when you order your food, ask your waiter for a doggie bag ahead of the time, so you can put your extra portion of food in the container so you don't over eat. It might feel funny to ask that but this is your life and health, NEVER feel embarrass asking.

Remember:

TIGHT FIST - about 1/2 cup or 1 carb choice
FINGERS - about 4 cards per meal

Book: Never Be Fat Again

Raymond Francis is the scientist people turn to when diets don't work. His groundbreaking approach treats excess weight for what it reall y is--a disease caused by malfunctioning cells. As Francis explains, many of the foods we eat every day, especially the 'health' and 'diet' ones we dutifully buy to lose weight, have the opposite effect . Full of hidden toxins and lacking nutrients, they actually poison your cells and alter your weight-control genes, causing your body to put on the pounds. Like he's done for thousands of other people, Raymond Francis can help you turn this fat cycle around and reclaim your waistline--and your health.

This is a very interesting book for dieters who want to learn how to loose weight and how our body reacts on fat and sugar foods. If you are a vegetian or a RAW diet person, this book will be a great beginner for dieting. Here is an article where I found about it. Chick here.

Bargin Coupons

Aw...Coupons. My favorite relaxing thing to do on Sunday is to cut out those wonder savings that are called coupons. I like to save my money for special thing but most of all is to try different things for loosing weight. For example, I bought the 10 minute trainer from BeachBody.com. Also, I bought expensive Organic foods, breads, crackers and oils which are more healthier than the fatty foods like vegetable oils which is cheaper. (I used the oils for my salads and for cooking.)

Beside the Sunday paper, you can go to coupon.com, retailmenot.com, couponcabin.com, mycoupons.com and buy some coupons on ebay which ebay is OK buy you can't trust if they are expired or not. Also, what you can do is to make a list of your favorite food that you always buy and call or email that company/manufacture and ask them if they can mail you coupons. Tell them that you really like their product and you don't want to do to the other generic (their competiors) version. My Mom always told me that it doesn't hurt to ask. Plus, check your product website and see if they have any coupons to download or print.

Buying the right product and better healthy choice will make a different in your health.

3 Little Steps to a Successful Weight Loss

1. Learn to build slowly: Be realistic about your abilities. Don't start out huge by lifting 50 lbs of weight and throw your back out. Work out small, you are still working out those muscles even if you are walking in place or getting up from the couch.

2. Keep a log: Keeping a log of your activities and food in take that will help you stay on track and keep you on it. So, buy a small journal, nothing fancy, and write in your exercise, calories and positive thoughts that you did that day to keep you motivated. Plus, write down your goals, so that you are reaching you success and reminds you WHY you are doing this in the first place.

3. Reward yourself: When you reach your goal, reward yourself by going out or get something that make you feel happy. Splurge a little, you deserve it.

Depression

This weekend I was very moody, lonely and depression that I didn't want to do anything and didn't care about anything. It was very hard to get out of the mood just to feel happy or feel normal. I tried to go out and have a picnic and tried to go shopping to a mall and do some walking but nothing worked. I even went out to saw a movie, "Wall-E" which is a good movie but it made me more sadder cause I was alone. I can't have pet cause I live in an apartment.

So if you are in a moody mood, my best way to get out is to call a love one which I called my mommy. OR do something that you like doing like I like to look at craft workshops like go to an store that have art supplies and I think more about creativity. Do something that makes you think and meditate/focus that thought towards what you like. OR listening to your favorite music to get you up and running which is a great motivator.

Very Busy

Sorry to all my reader and bloggers, I have been very busy with work and trying to figure out how to make extra money to pay for the bills and buying a home. I did see a website for 'Women for hire' which I did saw an interview on tv and an article on abc tv. But it's very hard to found out which ones are a scam or not. Its hard to live in our time of spending money with all the gas prices and everything else has gone up. Getting a second job is impossible when you don't know what night you are staying to work late hours.

What do you all do for extra money?

Nutrition Data

Nutrition Data's continuing goal is to provide the most accurate and comprehensive nutrition analysis available, and to make it accessible and understandable to all.

The information in Nutrition Data's database comes from the USDA's National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference and is supplemented by listings provided by restaurants and food manufacturers. The source for each individual food item is listed in the footnotes of that food's analysis page. In addition to food composition data, Nutrition Data also provides a variety of proprietary tools to analyze and interpret that data. These interpretations represent Nutrition Data's opinion and are based on calculations derived from Daily Reference Values (DRVs), Reference Daily Intakes (RDIs), published research, and recommendations of the FDA.

While Nutrition Data cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of every listing, we make every attempt possible to ensure the quality of our data. Check it out for yourself.

Senior Production Designer

FINALLY, I made senior, 'Sr. Production Designer'. It has been over due of 13 years working for this company and they finally they realize my title was old. I worked my butt off for this company by staying late hours, helping other employees doing their duties, upgrade and learning software on my time and so on... It make me wonder, WHY I did get it earlier? Was it because I'm over weight and not attractive enough with a skinny butt. My co-workers are skinny as a rod and they get pretty much anything they want and they are not good at their jobs. Most of the time, I'm helping or doing their job cause they give an accuse that they are busy home with a husband and kids. It's not fair. Our society is just WRONG. It's not fair or right to be treated like this but the world and media made us this way and its just too hard to change it.

OK ... sorry I just need to vent out. Have you have been treated wrong way from anything?

Motivation Success Stories

Go To the Movies

There are so many great movies coming out to theaters this year. Like the Mummy 3, Hellboy 2, The X-Files 2, Step Brothers, Eagle Eye and many more (check out my other blog: http://gotomovies.blogspot.com ).

It's is very hard not to go for the popcorn with butter or the king size candy bar which is 800 calories (with those calories, that's your dinner, if not more). So, I would suggest to go for a mix of pretzels, almonds (nuts) or raisins. Skip the soda or pop and get the water bottle.

I usually bring an empty brand water bottle and fill it up at their water fountain instead of buying it there at a price of gallon of milk. To a movie drive-in, you could bring fruit like grapes or an orange or maybe bring a granola bar which is satisfying cause of the fiber. My mom always brings hard candy to suck on like sugar free - its cool and refreshing. What do you bring to the theaters?

Supermarket Savings

Here is a few tips to save at a supermarket:

1. Scoop out for the coupons. coupon.com and your newspaper have great source of coupon savings. Also, you can call the manufactors of your favorite snack or food and ask them if they would kindly mail or email you some coupon savings. Just say that how you love the product and you would not like to go to their competoors that are less in value.

2. Plan your meals. Know exactly what you're going to need for the week or few days.

3. Make a list. Get exactly on the list, don't go off the list. While you are making a list, check each store paper and see which one is cheaper in price. You don't want to pay regular price if the store down the block is on sale.

4. Store brands. Buying store brands might be a few cents cheaper but it can really add up but be carefully and still the label on the food for fat and calories percentage.

5. Lastly, shop more. Don't buy too much food and if you eat it cause you went out with friends and your food that you just bought to bad and then you have to throw it away - that just throwing money in the trash. If you pass a food store from work, stop in and shop only 3 day of food at a time.

Most of all "NEVER GO TO THE STORE HUNGRY"

Healthy Foods Under $1.00

• Apples - snack, salads
• Banana - snack, smoothies, partfaits
• Baby Carrots in a bag - snack, salads, casseroles and side dish
• Canned Beans - for anything - salads, casseroles, stew, etc...

Sunscreen

It's about that time to wear your sunscreen block. More than 1 million people in the US will be diagnosed with skin cancer this year and the number increases over the past 10 years. Sunscreen is very important than ever with our weather going out of wack. It is very hard to know what to buy in sunscreen today with all the confusing labeling.

Just remember to look for:
1. SPF 30 or higher for the best protection
2. At least 7% zinc oxide or titanium dioxide for the broad spectrum protection

Avoid:
1. Sprays and Powder (inhaling sunscreen can pose extra risks)
2. Fragrance (allergies and reproductive problems)
3. Sunscreen with bug repellent (too much pesticide in your body)

Here are some tips to remember when you should wear your sunscreen.
1. Avoid midday sun - between 10am and 4pm.
2. Seek shade - cover up with a hat, sunglasses, shirt or an beach umbrella.
3. Reapply often - 15 minutes before going out in the sun and after you go swimming

Here are the top Sunscreens that I know of:

OR CVS with zinc oxide or walgreen with zinc oxide for the face, nose and ears are great products too.

Tip: Keep a small bottle of sunblock in your car. I was in traffic for about an hour going to the beach during the weekend and I got sun burn on my left side shoulder and arm because of the sun beaming down through n that side of my driver window.

Energy Tips

You want more energy, follow these steps of rules.

1. Have breakfast. Someone said in the past, "The most important meal of the day is breakfast." This will wake you up in the morning and warm your stomach up to recharge.

2. Eat every three to four hours. A small light snack throughout the day can kee your blood sugar and energy levels stable.

3. Fill up on more Fiber. Fiber has a time-releasing effect on carbs, so they enter your bloodstream at a slow and steady pace, giving your energy staying power.

4. Fuel your brain with Omega-3s. These essential fatty acids play a role in keeping brain cells healthy and helping you feel mentally alert. Fatty fish (tuna and salmon), walnuts and canola oils.

5. Stay hydrated. Water makes up the majority of your blood and other body fluids. Dehydration can cause blood to thicken, forcing the heart to pump harder to carry blood to your cells and organs and resulting in fatigue. So, drink up.

6. Splash some water on your face or take a shower. Water therapy to successfully increase your energy.

7. Turn on some tunes. Listening to music is very effective ways to change your mood. Dance and boogie.

8. Get your exercise in. It has been proved to help you fall asleep faster at bedtime, spend more hours in deep sleep, and wake up less often throughout the night.

Voots

Voots are tablets supplements for 3 full servings of fruits and vegetables in each servings of 2 tarts. This is a great easy way to get your full servings in one day and the best part they taste like candy. Not bad to get in your vegetables in. They are having a special to try it FREE by calling this number: 800.123.4567 must pay for S/H.

Weight Loss Pills

There are so many weight loss pills out there on the market that are not approved by the FDA. The way I see it, if is not approved, it's not worth taking it. Sure there are pills that can help you and help you loosing weight but if you doctor doesn't prescribe it, you know it's not good for you heart.

Also, the side effects on of these pills are hoariness. The MyAlli pill, I heard that you run to the bathroom a lot. That would be hard to take, if you work in an office and you are in the meet or can't go anywhere cause you don't know where are the nearest bathrooms are. Hoodia, a pill that cut down on cravings, please sounds like the pill is telling you what to do instead of you being under control of your body. The Phentermine Pill, (someone comment from yesterday article), I research that they can hurt you heart and not very effect. Sorry, seller but I only have one heart and the list of heart out there are too long and I want to stick it out with this one. Plus, remember some of these pills due hurt your stomach and liver, you only have one of those.

In my opinion 'DON'T TAKE IT'. If you cut back on junk food and cut down on high fat foods. Eat plenty of vegetables and lean protein and get exercise. Just get moving. Walk, Dance, do some gardening. You'll get there. Not overnight, but you didn't gain it overnight either.

If you are taking these pills, please, please talk to your doctor and ask them. They didn't go to medical school for 10 year for nothing. They do have the knowledge than we do. Even ask your health insurance advisor, if your medical care cover Nutrition Dietitians advisor for you health. BE SAFE!

My 2nd Goal

Well, I did OK on my first goal of the beginning of the year of 2008 which was to loose 30 lbs. before my vacation but I only lost 15 lbs. I thought I did well considing of my health was not up to par. I do feel stronger than ever before but still need to push myself into more exercise and push myself away from portion size of meals.

For my second goal, which everyone needs in a diet, will be to loose 30 lbs. for the next 3 months. Why three months if you're asking yourself, well it will be my 37th birthday on October 12 and I want to take a second vacation trip which I never do. West Virginia have these great 3 day road trips to see small town stores, nature water falls and the mountains. And what is better to see our country's USA nature in the falls leaves.

I have a bet with my mom, which if you reading this MOM put down that cupcake and start moving, that she has to loose 30 lbs. also and she can go along the ride with me. It's good to have a partner for motivation, support and completeness. Wish me luck and good luck with your goals of success.

Humor for Colonoscopy Test

Hope you enjoyed it (the description, not the procedure) as much as I did! Everyone needs a little smile on a Wednesday morning!

Subject: Dave Barry's Colonoscopy Journal

... I called my friend Andy Sable, a gastroenterologist, to make an appointment for a colonoscopy. A few days later, in his office, Andy showed me a color diagram of the colon, a lengthy organ that appears to go all over the place, at one point passing briefly through Minneapolis. Then Andy explained the colonoscopy procedure to me in a thorough, reassuring and patient manner. I nodded thoughtfully, but I didn't really hear anything he said, because my brain was shrieking, quote, 'HE'S GOING TO STICK A TUBE 17,000 FEET UP YOUR BEHIND!'

I left Andy's office with some written instructions, and a prescription for a product called 'MoviPrep,' which comes in a box large enough to hold a microwave oven. I will discuss MoviPrep in detail later; for now suffice it to say that we must never allow it to fall into the hands of America's enemies.

I spent the next several days productively sitting around being nervous. Then, on the day before my colonoscopy,I began my preparation. In accordance with my instructions, I didn't eat any solid food that day; all I had was chicken broth, which is basically water, only with less flavor.

Then, in the evening, I took the MoviPrep. You mix two packets of powder together in a one-liter plastic jug, then you fill it with lukewarm water. (For those unfamiliar with the metric system, a liter is about 32 gallons.) Then you have to drink the whole jug. This takes about an hour, because MoviPrep tastes and here I am being kind - like a mixture of goat spit and urinal cleanser, with just a hint of lemon.

The instructions for MoviPrep, clearly written by somebody with a great sense of humor, state that after you drink it, 'a loose watery bowel movement may result.'

This is kind of like saying that after you jump off your roof, you may experience contact with the ground. MoviPrep is a nuclear laxative. I don't want to be too graphic, here, but: Have you ever seen a space-shuttle launch? This is pretty much the MoviPrep experience, with you as the shuttle. There are times when you wish the commode had a seat belt. You spend several hours pretty much confined to the bathroom, spurting violently. You eliminate everything. And then, when you figure you must be totally empty, you have to drink another liter of MoviPrep, at which point, as far as I can tell, your bowels travel into the future and start eliminating food that you have not even eaten yet.

After an action-packed evening, I finally got to sleep.

The next morning my wife drove me to the clinic. I was very nervous. Not only was I worried about the procedure, but I had been experiencing occasional return bouts of MoviPrep spurtage. I was thinking, 'What if I spurt on Andy?' How do you apologize to a friend for something like that? Flowers would not be enough.

At the clinic I had to sign many forms acknowledging that I understood and totally agreed with whatever the heck the forms said. Then they led me to a room full of other colonoscopy people, where I went inside a little curtained space and took off my clothes and put on one of those hospital garments designed by sadist perverts, the kind that, when you put it on, makes you feel even more naked than when you are actually naked.

Then a nurse named Eddie put a little needle in a vein in my left hand. Ordinarily I would have fainted, but Eddie was very good, and I wa s already lying down. Eddie also told me that some people put vodka in their MoviPrep. At first I was ticked off that I hadn't thought of this, but then I pondered what would happen if you got yourself too tipsy to make it to the bathroom, so you were staggering around in full Fire Hose Mode. You would have no choice but to burn your house.

When everything was ready, Eddie wheeled me into the procedure room, where Andy was waiting with a nurse and an anesthesiologist. I did not see the 17,000-foot tube, but I knew Andy had it hidden around there somewhere. I was seriously nervous at this point. Andy had me roll over on my left side, and the anesthesiologist began hooking something up to the needle in my hand. There was music playing in the room, and I realized that the song was 'Dancing Queen' by Abba. I remarked to Andy that, of all the songs that could be playing during this particular procedure, 'Dancing Queen' has to be the least appropriate. 'You want me to turn it up?' said Andy, from somewhere behind me. 'Ha ha,' I said. And t hen it was time, the moment I had been dreading for more than a decade.

If you are squeamish, prepare yourself, because I am going to tell you, in explicit detail, exactly what it was like. I have no idea. Really. I slept through it. One moment, Abba was shrieking 'Dancing Queen! Feel the beat from the tambourine ...'.. and the next moment, I was back in the other room, waking up in a very mellow mood.

Andy was looking down at me and asking me how I felt. I felt excellent. I felt even more excellent when Andy told me that it was all over, and that my colon had passed with flying colors. I have never been prouder of an internal organ.

I'm Back!

I'm back from my vacation and it great. The weather was foggy and wet but we made the best of it. Its amazing how the fog came in. Usually at home it just comes in from the havens and rises back up but in Maine it comes in side ways and leaves side ways like a rain cloud. Beside the wet weather it was still nice to leave from the routine of life and relax. I took over 700 pictures and most of them have fog in them but here are some of what I saw: top 3 are from Bar Harbor at the National Park, 2nd is Portland George Washington Lighthouse and only got to see Fin Whales at Bar Harbor. I'll probably go back to Maine to the see the Fall leaves in the next 5 years. There are still a lot of places I want to see before I kick the bucket like Alaska, Seattle, Colorado, Grand Canon and Italy along with Paris and London. Hope and dreams to come true is my goal in life.

The best thing on the trip was to see my MOM smile and laugh. We had the best time and always. Love you, mom.

Top Secret Recipes

Todd Wilbur is known as creating his own recipes that he clones your favorite brand-name foods. From Applebees' desserts to Dunkin' Donuts coffee to salad dressings, he has the recipes that you can make from your own kitchen. And with that, you can substitute a fat recipe dish to a nutrition healthy recipe dish. When a dish calls for eggs, you can leave out the yoke and just use the whites. Some recipes are FREE and some you might have to pay 0.79¢ or $1 which is not a hole lot compare to the restaurant price.

My favorite is the Applebee's Chocolate Mousse Dessert Shooter. In the restaurant, they don't give you enough but just imagine, I can substitute the recipes ingredients into low fat or fat free. That would cut the calories in half and will still taste good and I cant have it instead of dreaming it.

His latest video was making Twinkies. See it on youtube (do a search on youtube.com - 'Todd Wilbur' you will get a lot videos that he clones other fine dishes from restaurants).

2 MINUTES TO TIGHT ABS!

It looks very advance but you can go slower and take your time with it until you can master it which you will if you do it everyday. There are a lot of videos on youtube.com if you do a search for '2 minutes ads'.

Carrot Muffins

1 cup Oatmeal flour
(put some oatmeal in a blender and ground it up until its a flour base)
2/3 cup wheat or white flour
1/3 cup flaxseed flour
1 lb. carrots (puree)
1 cup carrot juice
1/3 cup oil
3 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Put all dry ingredients in a bowel and mix. In another bowel, put in your wet ingredients and mix. For the carrot, you can do it two ways. 1: if you have a Juicer (I have this one which I never had a problem with it and mom has this one which is the same one except its not chrome look), juice the carrots 1 lb. and use the 1 cup of juice and all the pulp and put into the wet ingredients. 2: You can puree (hand fine shredder tool that shred cheese) the carrots with a hand grinder which will take some time but exercise in your arms. Put the puree into the wet ingredient with some fat-free milk for the substitute for juice. When the carrots are done, mix all the ingredients into one bowel and mix until a batter is form. You might have to put in more flour or more juice/milk to get a more batter base.

Put the batter into the paper cupcake then into a oven for 30 minutes for 400-375 degree. You can put a little bit of sprinkle of sugar on top of the muffin for a little sweet (optional). I just check on them until they are done by poking a butter knife into them and that the knife is clean and it feels like the muffin is cake base.

Flaxseeds - Omega-3

The nutty flavor of flaxseeds combined with an abundance of omega-3 fatty acids makes them an increasingly popular addition to the diets of many a health conscious consumer. Whole and ground flaxseeds, as well as flaxseed oil, are available throughout the year.

Flaxseeds are slightly larger than sesame seeds and have a hard shell that is smooth and shiny. Their color ranges from deep amber to reddish brown. While whole flaxseeds feature a soft crunch, the nutrients in ground seeds are more easily absorbed.

I always put ground flaxseeds in my tomato sauce, smoothies, pancakes and even in my homemade muffins. You can't even hardly taste the nutty flavor in your foods. With a dash, tablespoons or a cup of this wonder high fiber seeds, its worth eating. Flaxseeds, also, protect bone health, against heart disease, cancer & diabetes and controls high blood pressure.

So, next time in the store, go to the baking ails or the organic section (wholefood store), and buy flaxseed in a bag, ground or whole. Amazon.com sell them.

Go Greens - Different Nutrition Flavor

I drink a lot of water but after a while the plain taste of water can get boring and bland. Also, there is not vitamins or nutrition in water except water.

I came across of an ad in the Shape Magazine about "Super Fruit & Veggies Mix." Its not bad of taste and its different and good. Here is the website to read more about. They do have different flavors and they have its own nutrition in its own flavor. Check it out for yourself. Click here - ToGoBrands.com

Off to Maine

Finally, I can say the words, I'M ON VACATION. I have been waiting to say this for a good while.

I didn't meet my goal weight. I'm at 312 lbs. (half my goal score) with a total of 15 lbs that I lost and feeling good about it due to stress about my colon and the rest of my other problems.

By doing squats and other exercise like walking, resistance band and core ball, I feel stronger than last year which I had 2 surgeries. I feel that I can carry myself and my weight by the challenges I have accomplished like walking more over a 1 mile and climbing stairs in my apartment. I know it will be hard with the temptations of desserts and ice cream on my trip. But I'm going to make a rule to only have 'one dessert a day'. I am taking granola bars with high fiber that will fill me up and will drinking plenty of water or lemonade. Also, in Maine, there are a lot of hill climbing and wood area trails which I will be walking to see the sights. I'm going to make myself get out of bed every morning and walk on the beach to look for sea shells which is my favorite thing to do.

By the way, lobster is only 90 calories without the melting butter. I will be definitely having lobster for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. LOL

I see you all back here June 23 but STAY TUNE on some tips of weight loss next week that I have schedule on blogger.com in my post files. Go Greens flavor drink, flaxseed information, my favorite carrot muffin recipe, 2 minute ads and website; top secret.

Avocados

Avocados are luscious fruit and they are high fat and high-calorie treats but they are great support of potassium, vitamins A and E and some B and C with protein and starch. It's good for anyone suffering from stress or sexual problems. With its rich source of skin-protective antioxidants, vitamin E, women are often warned off avocados as being extra-high in fat and calories, should eat plenty of this fruit for the sake of their skin and good for the heart, circulation and anti-aging.

Cholesterol-Fighting Foods

SOY : Reducing saturated fat is the single most important dietary change you can make to cut blood cholesterol. Used as a replacement for meat and cheese, soy foods help your heart by slashing the amount of saturated fat that you eat. Crumbled soy--an alternative to ground meat--works well in chili, burritos, lasagna, soups, and casseroles. Add tofu to chili, eggs, or casseroles. It absorbs the flavor of whatever you're cooking.

BEANS : Beans are especially high in cholesterol-lowering soluble fiber. Eating a cup of any type of beans a day---particularly kidney, navy, pinto, black, chickpea, or butter beans--can lower cholesterol by as much as 10 percent in 6 weeks. Soluble fiber forms a gel in water that helps bind acids and cholesterol in the intestinal tract, preventing their re-absorption into the body. Soluble fiber is also found in oats and oat bran, barley, brown rice, beans, apples, carrots, and most other fruits and vegetables.

SALMON : My favorite fish in the world. Soluble fiber forms a gel in water that helps bind acids and cholesterol in the intestinal tract, preventing their re-absorption into the body.

AVOCADO : Avocados are a great source of heart-healthy monounsaturated fat?a type of fat that may actually help to raise levels of HDL ("good"cholesterol) while lowering levels of LDL ("bad" cholesterol).

GARLIC : t helps stop artery-clogging plaque at its earliest stage. How? Garlic keeps individual cholesterol particles from sticking to artery walls.

SPINACH : 1/2 cup of a lutein-rich food daily also guards against heart attacks by helping artery walls "shrug off" cholesterol invaders that cause clogging.

WALNUTS, CASHEWS AND ALMONDS : A moderate-fat diet that's rich in the healthy monounsaturated fats found in nuts may actually be twice as good for your heart as a low-fat diet.

CHOCOLATE : Choose the dark or bittersweet kind. The flavonoid antioxidants work to keep blood platelets from sticking together and may even help keep your arteries unclogged.

TEA : Tea helps to keep blood vessels relaxed and prevent blood clots. Flavonoids, the major antioxidants in tea, have been shown to prevent the oxidation of LDL cholesterol that leads to plaque formation on artery walls. These powerful antioxidants may even reduce cholesterol and even lower blood pressure.

Human Lab : Weight Loss

On June 3, Rachael Ray had on her show of a 'Human Lab' weight loss. She had 3 different people try 3 different weight loss products.

Thimage.com seems good for people who have no confidants in themselves. Some people just need more sound and encouragement that they can loose weight. Its all mind over matter that they need to believe in themselves.

Hoodia Spray : Curb your craving with the power of hoodia solution. NO. There are so many different pills, patches and spray out there and they help a little but the only way to loose weight is to move your body and watch what you eat.

Weightview.com : It claims to use visualization help you to motivate to loose weight to meet you goal. I wrote a short article on my blog early that you can see here.
