Portion Size by Hand

Portion size is a huge issue in weight loss especially eating out. Use you hand to guide your portion sizes. Also, when you order your food, ask your waiter for a doggie bag ahead of the time, so you can put your extra portion of food in the container so you don't over eat. It might feel funny to ask that but this is your life and health, NEVER feel embarrass asking.

Remember:
OPEN HANDFUL - about 1 cup of food
TIGHT FIST - about 1/2 cup or 1 carb choice
FINGERS - about 4 cards per meal
PALM - about 3 or 5 oz. protein
THUMB - about 1 Tablespoon
THUMB TIP - about 1 teaspoon

Walking Lunges


If you want a better butt that looks good, I would suggest the Walking Lunges. Its a very easy to do but very effective and burn your muscles. You could do it any where, going to get your mail lunging down your drive way or even going to your bathroom in your house. Just a little time to strengthen your muscles each day, will help you. Try it for 6 weeks each day and do 60 lunges, you will see some results.

Once again, Prevention.com comes through some great tips and source to keep us healthy. I came along with a email that on their website, a Food Encyclopedia with all the information on food. They have from fruits, nuts, spices meats and veges. Besides they give information what the food is, they give you info on how to store it, when to buy the best time, clean it and nutrition facts.
