Germs

It has been a while I had log on and wrote to this site. Well, I just turned 36 years old and on my birthday (10/12), I got very weak and ill. I had been at the gym working out for about 2-1/2 weeks and caught the pneumonia from some one or some thing. I tried to stay clean away from germs, by taking shower as soon I got home, took my vitamins and used the 'germ-x hand sanitizer' but I just had to get it. For all I been threw this one year (back surgery, my love one passed away, uterus cancer with radiation and now this).

I went to the 'er' cause it was hard to breath and my right lung was hurting. The doctors thought I had a block in my lung, but thank goodness I didn't. I had to take these anti-biotic pills to get better and they were making me nauseous ill in the stomach. Any good foods like lettuce, vegetables, fruit and etc. anything that was good for me, was making me sick in my stomach. Still today looking at lettuce is making me sick. I'm hoping after this awful year I had, I can start fresh and new, going to start new beginning of my healthy life. See you all soon in January. Never give up, never surrender, live longer life.

Making a Promises

The big 'C' word - Commitment. I know this is hard for a lot of people out there. There are excuses everyday to avoid the move like we are lazy, 'I work to hard during the day and I need time to relax' or taking things for granted. But just image, the feeling you can do it and you can succeed your promises. You're not just letting yourself down but also other poeple who need you.

I always would start out small, like volunteer at a senior center - once a week or go to the gym twice a week. You will complish more and do more. It only take a little time of your life to feel better about your self.

Helping yourself and other people, only makes you stronger and love yourself more.

There are so many foods out there that are filling and satisfying that are under 100 calories. Take the time to read the labels and serving size on the products or buy a book that have the calories.

Here a book from Amazon.com that talks about portions size and less calories but more food. It shows you how to choose foods that control hunger while losing weight. Volumetrics Eating Plan

Sex Weight Loss

I'm not go into details, but YES having sex is a working out meaning you will lose little pounds and keep you slim by building some muscles, just try not to get a cramp. Also, during the weight lose process your sex life will have major improvement due to feeling attractiveness and enjoyment activities. Orgasms releases endorphins in your brain like eating chocolate (satisfaction) but sex has no calories and it reducing your cravings for bad foods. So enjoy.

Butter it or Oil it - thats is the question?

It is better to use oil it than butter it. Butter is the worse enemy for all people. It is the clod arteries, cushion on your butt and hi in calories in a tab. Not all butter are bad, high in vitamins and traces in minerals but their are better substitutes to use.

Don't ever use Crisco or vegetable oil just because its oil, they are used more in baking than cooking. Also, they contain more calories in all fat (sat, mono. and poly.). If you want to bake a cake use
Canola oil (good for low temperature cooking). It contains at least 10% omega-3 fat.

Olive oil is most popular and great healthy substitute. It can quickly satisfy hunger and lead to fewer total calories ingested at mealtime. Studies suggest that olive oil decreases rates of cardiovascular disease and cancer. So use it for your salads.

Flaxseed oil is becoming an interest product. It is very high in omega-3 essential fatty acids. It contains two components-- lignans and fiber which we all need in loosing weight. Also, a good fact, it is 96% grown in the USA, North Dakota (Top in Canada). Finally something made in america. Check out more at http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/benefits-of-flaxseed. There is also Faxseed flour for a substitute for white flour (I get a post for that later). So cook away.

Sesame Oil is good too. It has more calcium that milk (high in copper and minerals, too). Copper Provides Relief for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Calcium Helps Prevent Colon Cancer, Osteoporosis, Migraine and PMS. So girls start using.

I hope this help.

Diet Programs...Do they exactly work.

Yes they do, but their program will get you so far and your wallet will be empty. Diet programs like Weight Watcher, Nutrisystem, LA Weight Loss and others, they do work in terms of loosing weight but they do not teach you to keep it off or how the eat health or to choose proper foods or exercise, so you don't gain weight back on. Sure, you buy their foods and equipment and go once a week and get leisured about loosing weight but is it teaching you how to move forward after the program? Maybe. All companies make $money that all they do in their job thats why there is so many programs out there.

Please don't get me wrong, I believe these programs will work but dieting is mostly eating proper foods and exercising. Also, believing yourself, you can do it. Never let some else who you don't know you can - cause you can do it. One word - BELIEVE.
