Calorie FORMULA
I found this Calorie FORMULA from someone video youtube.com. I thought is was very interesting and informative. This formula of math (my favorite subject in school) is the calulation for how many calories you should intake everyday and still loose weight. (Round you figure of answers.)
— Take your current weight in pounds multiple by 4.38 = A
— Add your height in inches multiple by 4.38 = B
— Add answer A and B and add that answer sum to 661 = C
— Take you age multiple by 4.7 = D
— Take C minus round figure D = E
— Take answer E minus 500
= The total about of calories you can eat while loosing weight and to eventually maintain your goal weight.
For example:
315 lbs. X 4.38 = 1379
68" height X 4.38 = 298
1379 + 298 = 1677
1677 + 661 = 2338
37 age X 4.7 = 173.9
2338 — 174 = 2164
2164 - 500 = 1664
1,664 Calories is the max to can a day while loosing weight.

WOW! These Fiber One Chewy Bars are good and there is 9 grams of fiber. Plus, they are only 140 - 150 calories. They are great in between snacks during break time. It does make me stay away from the vending machine. The Chewy bars come in Oats & Chocolate, Oats & Peanut Butter and Oats & Caramel. I like the Peanut Butter, fan. They also, have cereal and yogurt which has high fiber. Their cereal has a range of 9 - 14 grams of fiber with flavors of Honey Cluster, Raisin Bran and Carmel Delight. Their yogurt has 5 grams of fiber with flavors of Strawberry, Strawberry/Peach, Vanilla/Peach and Vanilla/Key Lime Pie. Yogurt has only 80 calories, 0 fat and 11 grams of sugar. Not bad at all.

3 Tips for Spring Dieters
After a long cold winter months, you can break away from the hot stews and casseroles. Spring is here and here to stay, for about 4 months of the year. The growing of greens and veges are spouting out from the ground and growing for your dinners and lunches. AGH...Tomatoes, Carrots, Squashes, ... OH MY
Tip #1 - Veggie OUT
Eating a large low-calorie salad as a first course may help lower the amount of calories eaten in the rest of the meal. If you ate 3 cups of low-calorie salad before lunch, you can will eat ate less at your entire meal -- taking in 12% fewer calories -- than when you did not eat a first-course salad. The low-calorie salads included iceberg and romaine lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, celery, and cucumbers, fat-free dressing, and light mozzarella cheese. At big portions will make you feel as if you've eaten a lot, even if you're eating a low-calorie item.
Tip #2 - Get HOT
Hot cooked cereal like oatmeal has about one-fifth the calorie density of dried cereal. Hot cereal has just 300 calories per pound; dried cereals pack in a whopping 1,400 to 2,000 calories per pound.
Tip #3 - Think GREEN
Green tea is a healthier choice than soda. One can of regular soda has about 140 calories, which translates into 9 teaspoons of sugar. Green tea, on the other hand, has 0 calories (if you skip the pre-sweetened variety). Also, green tea, may stimulate the body to burn calories, in turn decreasing body fat.
Happy Spring to you!
Wasa Crispbreads
Have you notice that bread has been raising their price lately. Well, instead of eating bread that don't have a lot of fiber or nor it has less calories, buy Wasa Crispbreads. They have a lot of fiber and whole grains. Also, they only have 45-60 calories per slice. I know what you are saying that there are fewer calories in bread out there BUT do they have the fiber grams.
Here is another point you should buy Wasa crispbread is the low in sugar. I check Roman Meal bread (one of the popular breads) has an average of 4-6 grams of sugar BUT Wasa has >1 to 1 gram. Wasa Crispbreads has 0 to 1 grams of fat, thats impressive. Roman Meal has at least 2-5 grams of fat.
I mostly have it during my morning, with cream cheese for 'on the go' food, and lunch, turkey with light mayo, cheese and spinach. The website has wonderful recipes, check it out for yourself.
Cookie Jar
I remember when I was eight or nine years old and I went to my grandma's house every weekend. I would come in her house, give her a great big hug and kisses and ran to the cookie jar in the kitchen. She would have homemade chocolate chip cookies to store bought. I didn't care what kind of cookies she had, I just remember the chocolate, chewy sugar flakes or the filled vanilla creme cookies. And the best part was I can have as many as I wanted. My grandma, Mary, always gave us what we wanted in sugar. My mom and dad would say, "Only have two" but my grandma would sneak and give us grand kids more. Those were the days.
Today is different. Cookies are bigger in size and bigger in calories. So, taking 3 or more cookies per serving is a large sum of calories and sugar that adds to our bigger hips. For some reason, we still think back in the ages when we were small and young that now, we take twice more than the serving on the label box. Also, through the day, you crave for the flavor of the creme vanilla cookie and you take more than you should. Meaning you just add more calories to you diet.
My solution that I have been working on, instead of cookies in the jar, put store bought bars that are package with a wrapper. There are so many low calorie bars like the Quaker Oatmeal bars (90 Calories) or the HERSHEY'S bars (100 calories). Its more satisfying to open a wrapper and taking a bit into. Maybe, its tricking the brain nerves that you are throwing the wrapper away, its telling you are finished like a meal on a plate.
Another solution is to bake your own Homemade cookies. Instead of white flour, use wheat flour. Instead of all the sugar, use Spenda and half the sugar to the recipe. Instead of egg with yolk, use egg whites only. Substitute ingredients is the best health choice you can make for yourself.
Happy St. Patrick's Day
AUH...BEER! Believe it or not, beer has received good points on health benefits. Studies has shown drinking beer can lower risk of heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and osteoporosis. Also, it contains high levels of an ingredient which allows the deposit of calcium and other minerals into bone tissues.
Just don't go over board, its still not a better choice in dieting. Count the calories on beer before you drink it.
And to give you heads up, when it comes to how you feel the next day, beer is the gentler choice than wine. Resources link.

Most sugars have calories of 15 to 25. But SPLENDA has ZERO calorie and it can be used virtually anywhere sugar is used. In cooking and baking, It can replace sugar in a variety of recipes.
It is made from a process that begins with sugar through a patented, multi-step process that selectively replaces three hydrogen-oxygen groups on the sugar molecule with three chlorine atoms. The result is an exceptionally stable sweetener without the calories found in sugar. After consumption, sucralose passes through the body without being broken down for energy.
